The firm, in one line.

Aimline closes the books, oversees the revenue cycle, and sits in the CFO seat for ABA therapy practices.

In one paragraph.

Aimline is an accounting and revenue cycle firm built for Applied Behavior Analysis practices. It closes the books on accrual, holds oversight of the revenue cycle above the biller, and takes the fractional CFO seat. One team, one set of numbers, and one person accountable for the distance between a delivered session and a collected dollar. Founded by Nicole Sands, who has been closing books since 2015.

Founder bio, short.

Nicole Sands is the founder of Aimline, an accounting and revenue cycle firm for ABA practices. She has been closing books since 2015 and took on the revenue cycle in 2024.

Founder bio, long.

Nicole Sands has been closing books since 2015. She founded her first firm to bring controller-level accounting to a field that had been getting generalist treatment, and spent the better part of a decade inside ABA general ledgers.

She took on the revenue cycle in 2024 for a simple reason: the books kept showing her where the money went, and it was not where anyone was looking. A denial is the last event in the chain, not the first. Aimline is what that turned into.

She is also a co-founder of Qlarity, which automates CentralReach-to-QuickBooks reconciliation, and runs a certified organic farm and an animal sanctuary in Southern California.

What Nicole can speak to.

These are subjects she works in every week, not a wish list. Each one comes with figures from completed engagements.

Why an ABA aging report overstates what is collectible

The gap between what a practice management system reports and what reconciles to cash, and the three configuration errors that cause most of it.

Agreed rates versus loaded rates

Why a claim can look paid in full and still be underbilled, quietly, on every date of service.

Where ABA revenue actually leaves

The eight stages between an authorization and a collected dollar, and which of them a denial report cannot see.

Cash basis books in an insurance-funded business

What an owner cannot know about margin until the books are on accrual by date of service.

Buying and selling an ABA practice

What a buyer’s quality of earnings process will find, and what it costs to fix after the letter of intent rather than before.

Running a finance function without a finance team

What an owner should hold, what to outsource, and the reporting cadence that makes the difference.

Brand and assets.

The wordmark is Aimline, always set with a terracotta period after it, and never abbreviated.
